#tokyo #photography #winter The last day of my visit to Tokyo during the winter was dedicated solely to the Mori Tower, in Roppongi Hills. More precisely, the Tokyo City View observation deck. In my opinion, it is arguably the best rooftop in Tokyo among all those I had the opportunity to visit. It offers an open deck area and an indoor space that is part contemporary art museum (Mori Art Museum) and part observatory with big windows from top to bottom. Camera gear such as tripods are allowed in the indoor area. There is no denying that most visitors come to admire and photograph the mesmerizing view of Tokyo Tower with the bay and beyond as its background. Personally, I took all the time I needed to capture the best tones of a clear, pristine golden hour, followed by a truly spectacular blue hour. It was a feast for my camera, my phone and this pair of eyes. Once back inside, I seized the opportunity to capture the nightfall in a timelapse while I tried different compositions of the tower with other elements of the city.
