The Omnitrix initially contains ten aliens, although later on Ben obtains more species by adding and unlocking their DNA. The Ultimate Omnimatrix, referred to as the Ultimatrix, was the device that Ben 10: Ultimate Alien revolved around. Ben used it to replace the Omnitrix, which he destroyed in a battle with Vilgax.
