Summer is winding down, and we are having a Back to School Bash all the month of August celebrating all things that are nostalgic from our childhood. These coming of age movies are timeless, attacking problems like bullying, puberty, underprivileged and underperforming schools, family issues, racial tensions, and of course dating. Many of the movies are tear jerkers with strong leads for teachers or administrators in a troubled school. Some of the movies are light hearted comedies that tug on other emotions.
