FJ Cruiser Rebuild Part 5: Peeping Pistons and Looking at Lobes

My engine is still seized. Boohoo. Can't turn the crankshaft either way and it doesn't even have any play. Took off the valve covers today and found some interesting pieces of ??? Let me know in the comments if you can recognize it! Thanks. And I wish I had a smaller scope so i could peep at the cylinder walls and piston heads. This all got me thinking, how dumb am I for not draining the oil as a first step and checking for chunks to give me an idea of what's going on with this engine? That'll be my next step.
