'I will try to kill as many people as I can' Crumbley said in recording before Oxford shooting

Warning: Contains graphic language. A recording Ethan Crumbley made the night before the Oxford High School shooting was presented as evidence in a hearing Thursday, July 27, 2023. In the nearly 20-minute recording, Crumbley rails against the collapse of society. He says he needs to "take action," and says "Tomorrow I will walk behind someone and I will shoot a bullet in their skull." A judge will determine whether Crumbley can be sentenced to live in prison for killing four classmates and shooting seven others on November 30, 2021.
