Welcome to Tashkent Uzbekistan Day 2

Welcome back to my 2nd day in Tashkent Uzbekistan! On this second day, I had a truly memorable adventure, and I can't wait to share it with you. Foreign Registration Department: My day began with a visit to the Foreign Registration Department to retrieve my passport, which I had to leave there yesterday. Navigating through the process was an experience in itself, but I finally got my passport back, ready to continue exploring this beautiful city. Independence Square: Next stop, Independence Square. Where I visited the iconic Eternal Flame then made my way to Amir Timur Square. While it was a bit challenging to navigate, given that all the signs were in Russian and Uzbek, it added an extra layer of adventure to my day. Plov Center: No visit to Uzbekistan is complete without indulging in its world-famous traditional dish, Plov. So, I headed to the Plov Center for a mouthwatering experience. On my way, I passed by the renowned Uzbekistan Hotel and the TV Tower. Hazrati Imam Complex: My next stop was the Hazrati Imam Complex, where the oldest Qur'an in the world is kept. This complex is not only historically significant but also architecturally stunning. I had the privilege to offer my prayers in a truly beautiful and impressive mosque. Chorsu Bazaar: As the day continued, I strolled through the vibrant Chorsu Bazaar, immersing myself in the local culture, flavors, and colorful displays of produce and crafts. The sights, sounds, and smells were absolutely incredible! Kosmonavtlar: To wrap up my day, I took a train ride to visit Kosmonavtlar, a place where history and the future collide.
