Notoriously hailed as one of the worst Canadian IMP menus ever made, Omelette with Salsa has a very descriptive nickname. Find out if it is a well deserved one, or is this menu actually not bad and one that should still be made? Find out, if you have the courage! Check out my Canadian MRE Review buddies and please give them a subscribe! BTemple is a history teacher and has a immense amount of knowledge on rations of all eras and countries and is an exceptional dude. BTemple: /user/brentyt Paul runs a super cozy outdoors channel and does MRE reviews too. I've known Paul for years now! Paul Buikema: /user/jimmyq33 Smitty & C T are hilarious dudes and treat a lot of great people in the community so well and since C T is on the road a lot he even stops by to visit a lot of the MRE folks along the way. I think that is really cool. Smitty has a 2005 (Or 04 I forget) Omelette w/ Mushrooms review ya gotta see. @xzeeronbremen20215 years ago At some point Steve should open a restaurant where they only serve his favourite ration items from different vintages. "Sir, today's special is dry hardtack from eightteenhundredsomething. It has a strong taste of mothballs and pairs really well with this slighty impared 75 years old coffe istant type 1."
Also the name of the restaurant should be "Steve's botulism lottery"

@CatherineThePrettyGreat3 years ago I've just found your channel and am enjoying it immensely, watching from the most recent. Up until now, this has all been fun - your opinions on moist towelettes and sports drink, your catch phrases, the history...
But this episode has actually solved a problem for me!
I'm disabled and rely largely on pre-made meals, both fresh and frozen. (I KNEW the fettucine was going to suck, because they always do.) And you've just helped me articulate what is wrong with many of them, and also how I can fix it.
TEXTURE! Add some crackers and so many of the meals would be instantly improved. I'm going to try it and will report in if you'd like.
    Much love from Australia,
    Catherine

@colinmeikle71152 years ago Seeing you put that omelet on the tray gave me bad flashbacks for when I was a Canadian army Cadet when I had this back in 2010. It was in date but it was still disgusting, an hour later after breakfast we went on an 8km run on the trail, and halfway through I had to stop to throw up cause of that damn omelet. So glad they took it out and added beans with maple syrup instead. ... 5
