Condition is confirmed by sigmoidoscopy and biopsy. Treatment is local enemas. Colon cancer can also present with obvious, overt or occult bleed. Occult blood means, blood is not seen with naked eyes in stool, testing is requires to diagnose this condition. Cancer of colon can present with occult blood and anaemia. Colonoscopy is required to diagnose this condition and treatment is either surgery or chemotherapy depending upon the stage of the disease.
